Beginning a new year...

My garden is still a disaster, along with my gardening skills.  I have found that I don't have the stamina to do the upkeep that must be done on a regular basis.  A large amount of clipping, spraying, weeding, planting, and other types of maintenance is needed.  So, I hired someone to help out but still that wasn't enough to bring a 1 acre plot up to snuff.  Of course, it didn't help when I took a month off during the winter to travel and came home to find that the frost damaged and killed a number of plants, bushes & trees.  The final straw has been my never fully up but always partially down drip system.  And, as everyone know, here in the desert, a drip system is vitally important.

What I REALLY enjoy is watching the critters that come through my yard.  This one was hunting dinner in the form of bunnys or squirrels or chipmonks.  He didn't catch any.
